In view of Your mercy, God, I willingly and with joy offer my body as a living sacrifice. I will not be conformed to this world and set my mind on the things of the flesh, which are death and destruction. Because Your thoughts and ways are not mine, they are much higher than mine, I surrender my mind to Your words of life and peace, and let Christ dwell in me richly, transforming me by the renewing of my mind. Since I have been raised with Christ, I set my mind on things above, where Christ is, not on earthly things. In doing so I am made new in my attitude and put on my new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Then I will be able to prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God for me in my life. Rom. 8:5-6; 12:1-2; Col. 3:1-3,16; Eph. 4:23-24<\/span><\/p>\n

I surrender my mind to Your Words and thoughts because I believe they are divine power for me to receive life and godliness. I am mighty in God and take on His character when my thoughts obey Christ. His thoughts give me power, love, a sound mind, and perfect peace. I will deny my worldly thoughts and think on whatever is noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and of a good report\u2014if anything is excellent or praiseworthy\u2014 these are things I will be meditating on all day. Then I will be putting God\u2019s Word into practice and the God of peace will be with me. 2Pet. 1:3-4; 2Cor. 10:4-5; 2Tim. 1:7; Phil. 4:8-9; Luke 9:23-24; Isa. 26:3<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m surrendering and calling on Your name, Lord, so I can resist the devil and be saved from every kind of sin. Abiding in Your Word keeps me Christ focused, which is faith and forgiveness focused, love and joy focused, peace and rest focused, thanks and praise focused, serving and others focused, grace and truth focused. Being Christ focused is worshipping You, Lord, in Spirit and in Truth. Abiding in Your word keeps me free from fear, protects me from all evil, and bears much fruit in my life. I save my life daily by denying my thoughts and attitudes and take up the cross, Christ\u2019s thoughts and attitudes, so I can follow Him. Then my attitude is the same as Christ\u2019s, considering others better than myself and laying down my life. I humble myself quickly by turning from every wicked thought and attitude and fix my eyes on Jesus, the Word, who sanctifies me completely: my whole spirit, soul, and body. He is faithful and will do it. James 4:7; Rom. 10:13; John 1:17; 4:24; 15:5, 9-11; Matt. 11:29-30; Col.3:15; Luke 9:23-24; Phil. 2:3-7; 2Chron. 7:14; Heb. 12:2; 1Thess. 5:23-24; Ps. 91<\/span><\/p>\n

I offer every part of myself (my thoughts, desires, etc.) as an instrument of righteousness, and then will not let sin reign in my mortal body and obey it in its lusts. Why would I want to offer any part of myself to wickedness?! Lord, let Your will be done in my life, leading me to always humbly submit to all people, freely forgive others as You have forgiven me, greatly rejoice in Your salvation, and give thanks always. As I humble myself to You, Lord, You will lift me up. Rom. 6:12-13; James 4:10; Col. 3:12-13; Titus 3:2; Isa. 61:10; 1Pet. 1:3-6<\/span><\/p>\n

My body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord and the Lord for my body. I know that my body is a member of Christ himself. I\u2019m united with the Lord and one with him in spirit. I know that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, whom I have received from God. I am not my own but was bought at a price: the blood of Jesus! Therefore I honor You, God, with my body. I am light in the Lord and walk as a child of light, having no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness through word, deed, or thought. I realize that it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done in secret. I will think and meditate on what is pure and good! 1Cor. 6:13b-20; Eph. 5:8-12; Phil. 4:8<\/span><\/p>\n

In Christ, I am being poured out as a drink offering, and I will fight the good fight and finish the race by keeping my confession of faith. What things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Indeed,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>I count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ\u00a0<\/strong>and be found in Him. 2Tim. 4:6-7; Phil. 3:7-8<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
