Getting a prayer partner is critical for whole health!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

God\u2019s way to whole health is through e<\/span><\/strong>mpowered, Spirit-filled prayers.\u00a0<\/strong> God\u2019s Holy Spirit is our guide to receiving every good and perfect gift God has for us.\u00a0 Since the Holy Spirit gives us power, love, and a sound mind, guides us into all Truth, teaches us all things, and is a wonderful Counselor, we want and need Him in the center of our prayers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A whole health prayer partner is s<\/span><\/strong>omeone that you meet with regularly for the purpose of growth, healing, and to become whole<\/strong>; someone to share your hurts, problems, and concerns to be prayed over; someone trustworthy to open up your heart about real issues and know they will be kept only between the two of you.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you get a whole health prayer partner? \u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Pray,<\/strong> asking God to give you someone that you can share your whole self with and pray together for the purpose of whole health: body, soul and spirit.\u00a0 It may be one of your close friends, or it may be someone that God just drops into your life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me share with you how I met Bonnie, my prayer partner.\u00a0 My husband and I were asked to offer prayer support at a conference.\u00a0 Bonnie came to us, asking for prayer, and afterward she prayed a blessing over us.\u00a0 I was so touched by her prayer. \u00a0We talked for only a short time and immediately we both felt a strong connection to each other. \u00a0She expressed what a blessing it would be to have me as a prayer partner and I agreed, also agreeing that it would be a great blessing for me to have her as my prayer partner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We exchanged phone numbers and began a wonderful journey together in whole health prayer partnering.\u00a0 Meeting each other was such a God thing!\u00a0 As we began praying for one another weekly we began experiencing progress in all areas of our health and life.\u00a0 We began seeing our prayers accomplishing the desires that God had given us.\u00a0 In fact the Whole Health Club was birthed by our prayer times!\u00a0 We experienced God breaking down strongholds, releasing us from hurts, empowering us for ministry and teaching us many things. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though I live in Texas and Bonnie lives in Florida we were connected for His purposes. So much happens in and through us as a result of our times together.\u00a0 These weekly visits are precious gems and life changing moments that build us into who God created us to be in Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

My relationship with Bonnie is one of the greatest blessings in my life.\u00a0 We have prayed about our struggles, concerns, health, fears, frustrations and joys together, and the Lord has poured out His healing, blessings, power, provision, and presence through our prayer times.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Bonnie and I get off the phone after praying together, we both feel like a new person.\u00a0 We are energized, spiritually uplifted, encouraged and empowered by the Spirit of God.\u00a0 This is our desire for each one of you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you do not have this kind of relationship in your life, ask God to provide a whole health prayer partner for you.\u00a0 Don\u2019t stop asking (praying) for Him to give you someone until you are satisfied that He has answered your prayer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!\u201d\u00a0 (Matthew 7:7-11)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u201cTherefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask.\u201d\u00a0Matthew 14:7<\/span><\/p>\n

Having a whole health prayer partner guides you towards reaching your goal of whole health: body, soul and spirit; but in addition to this you receive the marvelous blessing of a strong, growing relationship with the Lord. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit brings whole health through prayer partnering when we connect ourselves to Him and His word.\u00a0 So the most important part of your meeting together with your prayer partner will always be the beginning prayer to make the connection.\u00a0 This comes before your conversation gets started!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can do this by starting your time together by praying something like this:\u00a0 Lord we are so grateful for the indescribable gift of Your Son and this wonderful, amazing place He paid for us to have in Your presence.\u00a0 You are our source of life, wisdom, and health.\u00a0 You alone know all of our needs and are able to meet them perfectly through our time today.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So we invite You Holy Spirit to come and counsel, teach, and guide us into all Truth.\u00a0\u00a0 Speak to us through this time. Lead all our thoughts, our words, and our prayers.\u00a0 Use our time together in prayer and fellowship to do exceedingly, abundantly above what I can think or imagine for healing, delivering, and saving us to the uttermost.\u00a0 Hedge us in tightly with Your warrior angels and protect us.\u00a0 Give us ears to hear and eyes to see.\u00a0 Tell us great and mighty things we do not know to bring us to freedom and victory in Christ. \u00a0Make our time together true intimate time with You Lord and with each other. In Jesus Name, Amen!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The most important thing is that the Holy Spirit is flowing His power, love and sound mind through your time together, both in fellowship and in prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prayer Time<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now that you\u2019re connected to the Holy Spirit, ask one another for specific prayer needs and have a little notebook in which to write them down.\u00a0 Write down both yours and theirs.\u00a0<\/strong> You\u2019ll get to see how God is answering your prayers each week.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you come together the next week share answered prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though this is not a time of praying for the government, church, relatives etc. feel free\u00a0to pray for\u00a0any\u00a0urgent\u00a0prayer needs or burdens you may have on your heart.\u00a0 A whole health prayer partner is mainly for the purpose of becoming whole, so keep most of your prayers to personal needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Share with one another Words of God from the Bible you feel the Holy Spirit leading you to share.\u00a0 John 6:63 says,\u00a0\u201c<\/b>It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Words of God bring life, so listen carefully throughout your time together for His voice both to share and to receive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Write down any Words of God you hear your prayer partner share and use them in prayer.\u00a0<\/strong> Ephesians 6:17-18 says, \u201ctake the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God and pray.\u201d\u00a0 And Psalm 145:18 says, \u201cThe Lord is near to all who call on him,\u00a0to all who call on him in truth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As you begin in prayer, always bless the Lord and praise Him first, giving thanks for the many blessings He has poured out to you through Jesus.\u00a0 You can use a Psalm to do this.\u00a0 Psalm 34 is a good place to start.\u00a0<\/strong> Staying with the same Psalm for a month gives you really great meditation.\u00a0 Also freely expressing your gratitude and praise to the Lord is wonderful.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praying over your prayer partner\u2019s needs is simple yet very powerful.\u00a0 Take time to really cover over each one of their needs.\u00a0 Don\u2019t rush through your prayers.\u00a0 Enjoy being together in the Lord\u2019s presence.<\/span><\/p>\n

As you and your prayer partner pray together, you may hear the Lord speaking to you.\u00a0 Write down any words you hear from the Lord through your prayer time as well. \u00a0You\u2019ll see how real the Holy Spirit is and how much He cares for you!\u00a0<\/strong> His Words will guide you, teach you, counsel you, and make you whole.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By having a prayer partner, you will become more and more\u00a0comfortable with praying aloud and will be able to pray aloud with others wherever you go, even with strangers. \u00a0You’ll also become able\u00a0to pray in bigger groups aloud, comfortably as well. \u00a0Praying is no little thing because it activates the work of God, and becoming a praying person makes you powerful in Christ. \u00a0Just having an available prayer partner during your week when\u00a0needs and problems come up will bring huge blessings. \u00a0While praying for each other during the week, God will give you words of Truth you may share with one another \u00a0through\u00a0texting or emailing. \u00a0These words of blessing will bring lots of strength! \u00a0Prayer partnering will prosper you in many ways, and give you good health!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.\u201d\u00a0 John 10:27<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them\u00a0by my Father in heaven.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.\u201d\u00a0 Matt 18:19-20\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThough one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.\u00a0 A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.\u201d\u00a0 Eccl 4:12<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.\u201d\u00a0 Prov 27:17<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/b>Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.\u201d James 5:16<\/span><\/p>\n

But if we walk in the light,<\/span>\u00a0as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all<\/span>\u00a0sin. \u00a01John 1:7<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If we\u2019re walking in the light then we have and are enjoying true intimate\u00a0fellowship with others and we are experiencing Jesus purifying work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
