I do not withhold words of blessing. I give them freely! I sow and reap words of blessing generously. I give words of blessing to everyone, because it’s what I’ve decided in my heart to give. I don’t give them reluctantly or under compulsion. God loves for me to be a cheerful giver of blessing words to everyone. 2Cor. 9:6-7
Since God has crowned me with love and compassion and satisfies my mouth with good things, I am a blessing to people everywhere I go. I give love when I speak blessing words, and it will be given back to me. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into my lap. For with the measure I use, it will be measured to me. Ps. 103:4-5; 1Cor. 13:1-8; Luke 6:38
God is able to bless me abundantly with blessing words, so that in all things at all times, having all the blessing words I need, I will abound in every good work to always bless others. God supplies me with blessing seeds to sow, bread for food, supplies and increases my store of good seed, and enlarges the harvest of my righteousness, so I will be enriched in every way and can be generous on every occasion to speak a blessing. This generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2Cor. 9:8-10
I do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, I repay evil with blessing, because to this I was called so that I may inherit a blessing. I love life and see good days by keeping my tongue from speaking evil and deceitful things and instead speak blessings. I turn from all evil speaking and speak what is good, always seeking and pursuing peace. Who is going to harm me if I’m eager to do good? Even if I should suffer for what is right, I’m blessed. I do not fear threats and am not frightened because in my heart I revere and honor Christ as Lord. Whatever I do, whether in word or deed, I do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 1Pet. 3:9-14
I call on God to bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that His hand would be with me and that He would always keep me from evil speaking, that I may not cause pain! I speak with love, showing that I’m His disciple. What profits others is love, so I will focus on loving people with what I say and do. I give love by being patient, kind, humble, and honoring others. Expressing love never fails to bear much fruit. Loving others is the greatest and most important thing I can do. 1Chron 4:10; John 13:35; 1Cor. 13:1-8
Since God has blessed me with every spiritual blessing through Jesus, I rejoice that the Lord is with me and that I’m highly favored of the Lord! I’m blessed because I believe that the Lord will fulfill His promises to me! I’m blessed by keeping His statutes, seeking Him with all my heart, and delighting in His Word. I’m blessed because I hear the word of God and keep it. I’m blessed because my eyes see and my ears hear. Eph. 1:3; Luke 1:45; 11:28 Deut. 31:6; Ps. 119:2; James 1:22; Matt. 13:16
I love blessing my enemies, doing good to them, and lending to them without expecting to get anything back. My reward will be great, and I will be living as a child of the Most High, because He is kind to ungrateful and wicked people. I’m merciful, just as my Father is merciful. I bless those who curse me and pray for those who mistreat me to be blessed in every way and to be fruitful and multiply. Luke 6:27-36; Gen. 1:28
Because I open my mouth with wisdom and on my tongue is the law of kindness, my children call me blessed and my spouse also praises me. I know that no man can tame the tongue; that it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. I fear the Lord and will be praised. With my mouth I bless my God and Father, and with it I will not curse men, who have been made in the image of God. Out of the same mouth will not proceed blessing and cursing. Only blessing! Loving others is worshipping, honoring, and blessing God. Prov. 31:26,28, 30; James 3:8-12
Moses spoke to the Israelites and called them rebels. Moses cursed his own people with his words and God was not pleased. I will let no corrupt words proceed out of my mouth, but will speak words that are good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. I give people what they don’t deserve. Then I will not grieve the Holy Spirit of God. I will be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, even as God in Christ forgave me, in all that I say and do. When people are under a curse they need a blessing. I enjoy canceling curses on people by speaking words of blessing. Blessing words always prosper people and give them good health. Num. 20:7-12; Eph. 4:29-32; 3John 1:2
No one wants to drink saltwater because it’s disgusting to taste and it dehydrates the body. Saltwater, like corrupt speech, eventually dehydrates us. Dehydration leads to seizures, unconsciousness, and brain damage. Overworked blood cells carry the salt to the kidneys, which eventually become overwhelmed and shut down. Without functioning kidneys we die. Eventually, harsh, bitter, angry, hurtful, cursed and corrupt words destroy the body, soul, and spirit. I take pleasure in bringing health to people with words of blessing. Matt. 15:11
This is the way I shall bless my children and others, by saying to them, “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” I shall put His name on my children and others, and He will bless them. God has set before me life and death, blessing and cursing. I choose life and blessing words so that my family and I may live and that I may be a blessing to all people. Num 6:23-27; Deut. 30:19
