Confession for Good Eating Habits

I will tell myself the Truth and abide in the Truth concerning my health so that I can see, believe, and walk in the Truth, and the Truth can set me free. John 8:31-32

I am of God and overcome bad eating habits, bondage, and addictions to food because I believe I am dead to sin, and now alive to God in Christ! Christ is my life and He who is in me is greater than junk food.  I will not let evil desires reign in me.  I will not yield myself to them.  Instead, I yield myself right now to God as a person who has been brought from death to life.  I am an instrument of God’s righteousness by my words of faith.

I destroy all destructive cravings to sugar, junk food, and overeating in Jesus name! I have no desire for junk food, bad sugar, or over eating in Jesus name. I am free indeed from all food addictions in Jesus name.  Food has no dominion over me, since I am under God’s grace.  1John 2:16; 5:4; Rom. 6:11-15; 10:3-10; Col. 3:3-4

I make healthy choices today, eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, and take good care of my body.  My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I glorify God with my body. I give my body as a living sacrifice to be used by God and conform my thoughts to truth.  I eat and enjoy what is healthy and nutritional.  I have entered into God’s rest and have ceased from my own works. The Holy Spirit helps me walk in freedom.  My mind is focused on what is good, healthy food and thanksgiving to God.  Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Cor. 6:19; Phil. 4:8; Ps. 107:1

I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I put no confidence in my flesh. I rely on God.  I am strong in the Lord and in His mighty power and I can do all things including eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, exercise my body regularly and give thanks in everything through Christ who gives me strength!  Gal. 2:20; 2 Cor. 5:21; Phil. 3:3; 4:13; Joel 3:10; Eph. 6:10

God, You are for me, not against me. You did not even spare Your own Son, but gave Him up for me! How will You not also along with Him, freely give me all things including a healthy diet, healthy habits, and a healthy body, soul, and spirit! Thank You, God, for replacing the old desires with new desires for healthy food. Thank You for showing me a new way of eating, and making it easy for me to make changes.  Rom. 8:31-32

Thank You, Lord, for supplying all my needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ, and not according to my willpower or performance. Thank You, Lord, for always leading me in triumph in my health through Jesus! Phil. 4:19; 2 Cor. 2:14

God, You, are the Vine and I am connected to you everyday, remaining in You by giving you thanks always for helping me and You are bearing much fruit in my health. John 15:5

In Jesus Name, Amen (So be it!)
