God has revealed through Scripture the importance of my eyes and what I look at. He says if I have healthy eyes I will have a healthy body therefore I think on good, look at good, believe good and will be healthy! What I see is what I am. What I look at is what I become. God says that my vision affects the health of my whole body, therefore I store up treasures in heaven by meditating on His word. Where my treasure is, there my heart will be also. My heart is storing up the treasures of God through His word in my mouth and in my heart. My eyes are the lamp of my body. If my eyes are healthy, my whole body will be full of light. Matt. 6:20-22
Eve simply looked at the fruit on the tree and her desire kicked in and she began the process of sin and death. David simply looked at Bathsheba and he went completely off the deep end, even to the point of murder! Looking can cause me sin and death or it can bring me life and peace. The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived. When I look at the cross, the gift of salvation, healing and freedom, I live because I’m a new creation and all the old me is gone. I fix my eyes on Jesus, the word, and He perfects my faith, and I live an abundant life in Him. Gen. 3; 2 Sam. 11; Num. 21:8-9; 2 Cor. 5:17; Heb. 12:2; John 10:10
Looking at the word with my mind and heart is filling my whole body with light. Where there is vision, people prosper and succeed. If my eyes become bad I will simply look at the word and meditate on it and I will prosper in whatever I do. I love fixing my eyes on Jesus the Word! He is full of glory, beauty, love, mercy, and grace, and fills me with good things! Prov. 29:18; Matt 6:23; Luke 11:34; John 1:1,14; Ps. 1:1-3
I make Jesus, the Word, my King and Ruler and do what’s right. I will not do what’s right in my own eyes but look to Jesus to lead me in truth. Fixing my eyes on Jesus, the Word, is how He perfects my faith. This brings health to my body and strength and nourishment to my bones. Judges 17:6; Prov. 3:7-8; Heb. 12:2
The Spirit reveals to me the things of God, things no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived. God has prepared amazing things for me who loves him with my whole heart. The Spirit opens my eyes and ears to the deep things of God. 1 Cor. 2:9-10; Prov. 3:5-6
I see with the eyes of my heart and mind what God says about me in His word and I know it’s true. I trust Him and live in His goodness! I hear with my ears and understand with my heart and I am healed. Blessed are my eyes when they see and my ears when they hear! Matt 13:15-16;
I will not speak about not having supply when God has told me He will supply all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ. I see and understand that God is my Shepherd and I shall not want! I refuse to let my heart become troubled or afraid. I have eyes that see and ears that hear of His amazing love and grace and the abundance of everything He’s given me in Christ. l keep remembering and reminding myself daily that He has not spared His own Son but gave Him up for me, and along with Him freely gives me all things. Phil. 4:19; Ps 23:1; Mark 8:17-19; Rom. 8:31-32; John 14:27
I see clearly with my eyes that Jesus bore my sins and by His stripes I am healed. Now I count myself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. I see that now there is no condemnation for me because I’m in Christ Jesus. My sins and my lawless deeds He will remember no more! I see myself now freed from all my sins!
1Cor. 2:9-10; Num .21:8-9; 1Pet. 2:24; Rom. 6:8-11; Rom. 8:1; Heb. 10:17
The eyes of my heart are enlightened through Your Word and I know what is the hope of my calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in my life. I walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lust of my flesh. I will not look at another with lustful intent and commit adultery in my heart! I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I will have nothing to do with what is evil.Eph 1:8; Matt. 5:28; Ps. 101:3-4; Gal. 5:16
My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare. I lift up my eyes to where my help comes from, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let my foot slip. He will keep me from stumbling! Ps. 121:1-3; Ps. 25:15
I give my attention to His Word, turning my ears to listen closely to what He says concerning every area of my life. I will not let His Word out of my sight, but will keep it in my heart, and I find life through Jesus the Word and receive health to my whole body. Prov. 4:10-22
I see clearly everyday who I really am now, the righteousness of God in Christ, therefore I’m not trying to be righteous, I already am! I fill my eyes with the love of the Father and am free from lust. The Spirit is on me and I dream dreams and see visions. I look at the Word and save my soul! I look into the perfect law of liberty (freedom) and I am blessed in what I do. (James 1:21-25)
I set my mind and heart on the things above where Christ is seated and see who I really am now. My life is hidden with Christ! I see that grace and peace are mine in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus your Lord. His promises are my way to abundant life.Col.3:2-3; 2Peter 1:2-4; John 10:10
I see myself as more than a conqueror through Him who loves me because it’s really true! I am in Christ and loved with an everlasting love! Jesus told me if I believe I will have eyes that see the glory of God! Looking at the Word is looking at Jesus and seeing the glory of God. Romans 8:37; Jer. 31:3; John 11:40
