First Step: Salvation

The Holy Spirit gives you POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND. (2Timothy 1:7)

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus) the many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:19

“God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1John 5:11-13

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

All you have to do is “confess with your mouth” and “believe” in your heart and you will be saved. God’s ways and thoughts are higher than the heavens from ours!! (Isa 55:8-9) Just by confessing and believing you will be saved!

Those are some pretty powerful words of confession. Saved from eternal damnation! Saved from every sin you have or will ever commit! Made completely free from all condemnation and declared not guilty before God! Words are extremely powerful. Salvation comes by believing and SAYING so, confessing with your mouth.
Illustration: Imagine I fill two giant warehouses full of popcorn kernels and each one represents a sin in my life. The very moment I pray, confessing Jesus as Lord, believing He was raised from the dead and overcame my sin debt at the cross, both warehouses and the sin contained in them vanish, and are completely gone!

Everything in God’s kingdom after Salvation comes the same way…confessing and believing. By Grace (by God, His Word) through faith (in His Word, Jesus)

It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him]. But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him]. (Matthew 11:17-18)

Prayer & Confession to receive Jesus and a transformed life.

Thank You God for loving me so much to send me Your own Son to pay for all my sins! Please forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness with the precious blood of Christ. Make me clean, whiter than snow. Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died for my sins, that Your blood was shed as payment for all my sins. I call on Your name to save me now and change me. Sin destroys me, but You, Jesus, came to bring me life more abundantly. Transform me by changing my thoughts, my words, and my confessions, day by day. Words have the power of life and death. Make the meditations of my heart and the words of my mouth pleasing to You. Father, in the name of Jesus, I renounce and repent of every cursed word I have spoken over myself, others, or You. I cancel the power of those words and I surrender my life completely to you, Jesus.
