Get This Wisdom! Get This Understanding!

I’m thankful for _____________ (name a family member and say why you are thankful for them.

I must get wisdom and get understanding as it concerns giving thanks in everything! I must never forget, nor turn away, from God’s words of wisdom and understanding that His will is to bless me through thankfulness. I will not forsake this wisdom because it will preserve me. I will love this wisdom of thankfulness and this wisdom will keep me protected.

God’s wisdom concerning thanksgiving is the principal thing I need to succeed in every area of my life!  I will get His wisdom and get His understanding about thankfulness and it will promote me and make me fruitful. This wisdom of thanksgiving will bring me honor as I embrace it.

This wisdom to give thanks in everything will place on my head an ornament of grace, (favor) and a crown of glory will be delivered to me. I receive this wisdom from God that I am to be thankful in all my circumstances and the years of my life will be many. Thankfulness is my key to a healthy life.  Prov. 4:4- 10

I walk wisely and not as unwise, by understanding what the will of the Lord is. His will for me is giving thanks always and for everything. Eph 5:15-21

God’s grace (supply) causes thanksgiving to overflow in me to the glory of God. I give thanks always that God supplies all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ.  Just as I received Christ Jesus as Lord, by grace, I continue to live my life in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in my faith by overflowing with thankfulness. 2Cor. 4:15; Col 2:6-7; Phil. 4:19

Giving thanks will always turn my bad situations around and do a wonderful work of changing my heart attitude and life to good.  I will experience extreme blessings of freedom and healing through a thankful heart!  2Chron. 20; Ps. 107:20

I will never stop giving God thanks and I will not turn from His wisdom and become a fool! I give God glory by extending more grace to more people, that it may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. I give people what they don’t deserve like God gave me through Jesus.  2Cor 4:14-15; Rom 1:21-28

I submit to God’s will, giving thanks always, His good and perfect way that blesses me with abundance. I continually open my mouth with thanksgiving in all my circumstances, and the devil always flees from me.  1 These. 5:18; Rom. 12:2; James 4:7

Not my will but God’s will be done in my life, which is giving thanks always for everything. I watch and pray because the spirit is always willing to give me a thankful heart in every situation. Matt 26:36-46

I will deny myself all unthankful thoughts and words because they destroy me, and others, and instead I pick up the cross daily and surrender my life to God by giving thanks in all my circumstances. My body, including my tongue, is a living sacrifice to God and worships Him.  Because giving thanks in everything is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus, I desire to lose my life of ungratefulness and save my life through expressing thanks to God and others at all times!  Luke 9:23-24; 1Thess. 5:18; Rom. 12:1-2

Friends don’t let friends become unthankful! I will be a good friend who lays down all ungratefulness and leads others to giving thanks too. John 15:13

I’m so thankful for ___________ (name a friend and say why you are thankful for them)

I know that I make a fool of myself and only have regrets when I communicate unthankful words. When I give thanks it makes even very difficult situations much more bearable, and invites blessings from God!

I will sacrifice a thank offering to God by giving thanks even when I don’t feel like it and in very difficult situations and choose life.  I call on the name of the Lord when I give God thanks and live according to His good plan for my life and am transformed into His image.  I will continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of my lips that openly profess his name. Psalm 116:17; Heb 13:15; Rom. 12:2

If I don’t magnify the Lord through thankfulness in my thoughts and the words I speak then I will exalt other names like despair, fear, worry, doubt, depression, or bitterness. I will exalt His name and give Him thanks! Ps. 34:3

I let no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, ever come out of my mouth, but instead fill my mouth with thanksgiving. Giving thanks in everything is the very thing I must do in order to see God’s will accomplished in my life. Eph 5:4; 1Thess 5:16-18

I can be joyful in my trials because God has given me the wisdom I need – to give thanks always in everything! I learn to be content when I thank God that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. He is showing me the power of thankfulness in all my circumstances to bring me many good things and maturity so I will lack nothing. James 1:2-6; Rom. 8:28; Phil 4:11-13

Satan was not thankful for his highest position in heaven! I will not be like Satan! The enemy destroys me through complaining. Thanksgiving breaks the power of the enemy.  When I give thanks to God, despite the most difficult circumstances, Satan loses the battle in my life and I have victory over him!  Isa. 14:12-15; Ez. 28:1-17; 1Cor 10:10

God wants me walking in the peace that surpasses all understanding, which only He can give. I receive His amazing peace in my heart and mind every time I pray with thanks to Him! Phil 4:6-7

When I give thanks I am appreciating God and people. When people are appreciated they grow, blossom, heal, and experience great peace. When I don’t appreciate people by thanking them, they grow fearful, insecure, angry, prideful, rebellious, bitter, and they become sick emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally. I appreciate people and give them thanks daily and help people become healthy!

I am filled with joy, always thanking my Father, who has qualified me to be a partaker in the inheritance! Thank You, Lord, for delivering me from the power of darkness and transferring me into the kingdom of the Son You love! Col. 1:13-14

When I give thanks in prayer for the little I have, God will supply more. I will always pray with thanks like Jesus did, because God answers prayer and supplies exceedingly, abundantly, above what I can think or imagine. Matt. 14:14-21; Eph. 3:20

When I feel I’m lacking peace, I thank God for giving me peace because He promised to and His peace keeps my heart from being troubled and afraid. When I’m lacking humility, I pray again, thanking God for making my heart humble and gentle that I may receive more grace. When I lack anything: faith, hope, love, peace, joy, wisdom, freedom, healing, I simply pray God’s promises with thanks and He supplies according to His riches in Christ.   John 14:27; Matt. 11:28-30; Phil 4:19; James 4:6

I am loving life and desiring to see many good days, so I keep my tongue from evil by speaking what is good giving thanks in everything. I give thanks to God for giving me His peace, faith, love, power, and hope. I give thanks to God for supplying me with all this and more! I do have peace, faith, love, power, and hope because He has promised it.  Ps 34:11-14; Phil. 4:19

I am strong in the Lord when I take up my shield of faith in God’s Word, His great and precious promises, and pray with thanksgiving! This is God’s armor for me to be well protected and have a life in Him of peace and joy. If I do not serve the Lord with a heart full of joy and gladness for the abundance of all things [with which He blessed me in Christ], I will end up serving my enemies and that’s not my desire!  Eph. 6:10-18; Deut 28:47-48; 2 Pet. 1:3-4

I fear the Lord by giving thanks for His many promises He has made, for they are “Yes” for me in Christ. The “Amen” (so be it!) is spoken by me when I declare His Word to the glory of God. As I seek the Lord, I will lack nothing, no good thing. 2Cor 1:20; Ps 34:9-10

I devote myself to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving to free me from falling into the devil’s traps of pride, anger, unforgiveness, etc. Col 4:2

I thank Christ Jesus my Lord who has chosen me, the worst sinner, to be counted faithful, putting me into the ministry. I will give thanks to God because it’s foolish to curse God and complain. I accept all things, not just good things from God, because He’s working it all for good. I submit to Him and trust Him.  I consider my trials pure joy and give thanks to God for using them for good, because they are forcing me to grow up and become complete. 1Tim 1:12-17; Job 2:9-10; Rom. 8:28; James 1:2-3

I give thanks in prayer knowing God hears me, and I have what I ask because it’s according to His promises. As I speak out my faith I believe and see the glory of God! 1John 5:14-15; John 11:40

As I always pray with joy, I know what is happening to me is actually serving to advance the gospel. I will give thanks to God because my trials are actually doing great work for God! Phil 1:3-4, 12-14

I put my hope in God alone and praise Him. I have been given a garment of praise to counteract a spirit of heaviness. Psalm 42:5; Isa. 61:3

I get down on my knees to pray and give thanks before my God. I rejoice in the Lord! He has made me righteous in Christ and I give thanks to His holy name! Dan. 6:10; Ps 97:12

The angels give thanks! “All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, ‘Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.’ ” Rev 7:11

I offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay my vows to the Most High. I call on Him in the day of trouble and He will rescue me, and I shall honor and glorify Him. I offer a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving and honor God; and to me who orders my way rightly, He shall show the salvation of God to me.  I will continually enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise as I speak to others and as I pray. I will always give thanks to Him and bless His name. Psalms 50:14-15,23; 100
