FREEDOM AND HEALING THROUGH LOVE

FREEDOM AND HEALING THROUGH LOVE

My flesh doesn’t tell me the truth, so I can’t go by my feelings. I go by faith in the word of God. I submit to God’s truth; I believe and speak the word and Satan flees. He runs away! James 4:7

If I sin, I have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for my sins, and not only for mine, but also for the sins of the whole world including _______. This is how I know I am in Him: I walk in love. I declare Jesus as my Lord and live in him therefore I must live as Jesus did, giving love and mercy. I know that if I hate a brother or sister I am still in the darkness and walk around in the darkness, and I do not know where I am going, because the darkness has blinded me. I love my brother and sister and live in the light, and there is nothing in me to make me stumble. I do not love the world or anything in the world and I keep no record of wrongs. If I do not love the world, the love of the Father is in me. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father’s love, Jesus, but from the world, Satan.  The world and its desires- lust of flesh, lust of eyes, and the pride of life pass away, but I do the will of God and fix my eyes on Jesus, the word. I love others and think more about others than myself, and I will live forever. I do nothing through selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility of mind I esteem others better than myself.  I look not only to my own interests, but also for the interests of others. I let this mind be in me which was also in Christ Jesus, one full of love and mercy, and live as a servant.

I count myself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. I am alive in His love and dead to offense, therefore I do not let sin, offense, reign in my mortal body so that I obey its evil desires. I do not offer any part of myself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather I offer myself to God as one who has been brought from death to life. I offer every part of myself to Him as an instrument of righteousness for His love and mercy to flow through. I offer my thoughts and words to God.

What great love the Father has lavished on me, that I should be called a child of God! I am a child of love and mercy to the world and great is my reward, pressed down, shaken together, and running over!

I do not let anyone lead me astray.  The one who does what is sinful and takes on offense is of the devil. I am practicing righteousness, what is right, love and forgiveness and am born of Him. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s works, offense, lust, and pride. This is how I know I’m a child of God and not a child of the devil; I abide in Christ. The anointing which I received from Him abides in me and guides me to do what right and love others, and the anointing teaches me concerning all things. I know that anyone who does not love is not God’s child.

I know that I have passed from death to life, because I love others. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates is a murderer, and I know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. This is how I know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for me and I choose to lay down my life for others. I have God in me and have pity on others and their needs and live in his love. I am a child of God; I will not only love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. I walk in love and my heart does not condemn me, therefore I have confidence before God and receive from Him anything I ask, because I keep His commands and do what pleases Him. I do what He commands and it’s not burdensome; I believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and show and give love to others. I keep God’s commands lives in Him, and He in me.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that I might live through Him and lay down my life and walk in love and mercy. Since God so loved me, I also ought to love others. No one has ever seen God, but if I love others, God lives in me and His love is made complete in me and others see and experience God.

I know and rely on the love God has for me and for others. Christ is dwelling in my heart through faith in His word and I am rooted in love and filled with the full measure of God. God’s love in me is doing exceedingly abundantly above what I ask or think. God is love. I live in love and live in God, and God in me. This is how love is made complete in me; as Jesus is so am I in this world, full of love and mercy, humility and gentleness, patience and kindness, faith and trust, thanksgiving and joy. There is no fear in love. There is no fear in Jesus who is love so there is no fear in me who is in the Father’s love. God’s perfect love in me drives out fear. I am made perfect in love and live without fear because there is no condemnation or judging in my heart who is in Christ.
I love because God first loved me. I know that whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar and whoever does not love their brother and sister, cannot love God. I love God and I love others. God has given me this command: If I love God I must also love my brother and sister.

I always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have the Son and have life, a heart full of the Father’s love. This is the confidence I have in approaching God: that if I ask anything according to His will, His love, He hears me. And if I know that He hears me—whatever I ask—I know that I have what I asked of Him.

God’s love wants everyone well. God’s love paid in full for people to be well. I have confidence that every time I ask God for someone’s deliverance or healing He hears me and I have what I have asked. I have confidence and trust in God’s love for the whole world.

This is the fast God chooses, to undo the bonds of wickedness, to tear to pieces the ropes of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and break apart every enslaving yoke. The anointing, Christ’s love, is working through me and breaking every yoke of slavery and removing all oppression. His love in me is doing exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think as I speak blessings over others even my enemies. Then my light will break out like the dawn, and my healing will quickly spring forth; my righteousness will go before me, leading me to peace and prosperity. The glory of the Lord will be my rear guard. If I do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and speak faith and love, blessings, and if I spend myself in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then my light will rise in the darkness, and my night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide me always; He will satisfy my needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen my frame. I will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
